Spanish + Nature Highlights

Spanish + Nature program offers students the opportunity to learn Spanish while learning about fauna and flora of Nahuel Huapi National Park - one of the most breathtaking sceneries in the world. By combining language lessons with excursions in the National Park students can also explore the Patagonia wilderness and practice Spanish at the same time. Students will participate in group lessons in the morning and go for different excursions in the afternoons and/or week-ends.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for anyone interested in any field of natural history that enjoys spending time in the wilderness (including nature enthusiasts, biologists, photographers, bird-watchers, ornithologists) with a desire to learn Spanish or improve their skills of the Spanish language.

Who will lead the outdoor activities?

All outdoor activities are led by the nature interpreter Daniel Aldo Gomez, an experienced and renowned local biologist and nature photographer. Students will spend time in the different natural habitats present in the area and learn about the Patagonian steppe, southern beech forest, transition forest, aquatic habitats (wetlands, rivers and lakes), and others ecosystems.

Who teaches the language part?

Language lessons are held in La Montaña Spanish School, in downtown Bariloche.
